Tonight the second semi-final of Melodifestivalen took place in the Scandinavian Arena in Gothenburg with the next qualifiers selected.
A total of seven artists performed tonight, with two selected to qualify directly to the final, while two were selected for the second chance ‘Andra Chansen’ round. This means we say goodbye to three of the acts.
Here are the competitors:
- Klara Hammarström – “Nobody”
- Jan Johansen – “Miraklernas tid”
- Dotter – “Bulletproof”
- Mendez feat. Alvaro Estrella – “Vamos amigos”
- Linda Bengtzing – “Alla mina sorger”
- Paul Rey – “Talking in My Sleep”
- Anna Bergendahl – “Kingdom Come”
In the first round, the two songs placed 6th and 7th were revealed, and they were Jan Johansen and Linda Bengtzing.
The artists going directly to the final will be Dotter with her song, Bulletproof and Anna Bergendahl with her song, Kingdom Come.
The artists going to the second chance round are Paul Rey with his song, Talking In My Sleep as well as Mendez ft Alvaro Estrella with their song Vamos Amigos.
This means that Klara Hammarström finished in 5th place and will not be progressing in the competition.
